Jessica Quarello and Taryn Lagonigro are established speakers in the disability community, having been frequent guests on podcasts, interviews and for several corporate diversity & inclusion speaking engagements and keynote speeches. Jess and Taryn have also been featured on The Today Show for their work with their company, Extra Lucky Moms. Their fundraising events have raised tens of thousands of dollars for disability non-profits.

Jess and Taryn, who both welcomed children with Down syndrome in 2020, found immediate support and connection from the Down syndrome community after welcoming their daughters, but kept encountering mothers of children with other disabilities who were missing that same level of community. Tapping into their backgrounds in non-profit, marketing, and business, they founded Extra Lucky Moms in May 2021. The organization celebrates children with Down syndrome, autism, Jordan’s Syndrome, trisomies, heart conditions, and many more through their blog, social media platforms, in-person events and brand and nonprofit partnerships. It’s a place where everyone belongs and no struggle is too big or too small.

Signature topics for our events include: disability advocacy, community & connection, disability diagnosis support, wellness and self-care, prioritizing mental health in disability parenting and disability parenting & the workplace.

Our events can be customized to meet employee needs or company objectives, and are great for Diversity & Inclusion programming, Parent workshops, Wellness Fairs, Management trainings and more!

A recent client said: "Our company benefited greatly from the partnership with Extra Lucky Moms on their presentation regarding supporting parents with disabled children. Taryn & Jessica were accessible and amenable to tailoring their talk to reflect our employees’ needs, while providing actionable tips. We wouldn’t hesitate to bring them back to share further resources with our team!"
